A past to discover
Known by all as a summer holiday and entertainment destination, there are many relics that testify to its ancient past. The oldest republic in the world after the Roman Republic, its origins are ancient. San Marino offers breathtaking views and truly characteristic sights to all its visitors, with pleasant walks through the streets of the centre full of restaurants and souvenir shops. Among the main points of interest are Freedom Square and the interesting Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art and the State Museum.
